The Profit Before You Pay (PBYP) Introductory Offer
You keep analyzing the market. So why do the same trading problems keep showing up?
If you have been trading for a while, you’re probably doing the work: checking charts, watching market updates, comparing indicators, and reading reports or commentary before you decide to act. But if trading still feels inconsistent and uncomfortable at times, this introduction video can help you see what may be breaking down after the analysis is done.
Watch this Introduction Video, approximately 8 minutes.

What I wish someone showed me in 1990
When I started trading in 1990, I thought better analysis was the answer. So I studied harder, looked for stronger reasons, and tried to understand what I had missed.
At the time, that felt like the effort a serious trader should make.

I bought BTR Nylex because it had been the best-performing stock of the 1980s. The logic felt airtight, but the trade taught me something I did not want to see yet: a strong reason is not the same thing as a sound process.
Years later, in 2001, I watched $100,000 disappear from a portfolio I thought I understood. That forced me to stop asking only: “How do I get smarter?” and start asking: “Can I follow a decision-making process when it no longer feels comfortable?”
After eleven years of one-on-one mentoring from Mark Douglas, I had truly learned how to trust and follow my objective trading process. That buy & sell decision-making process has been live-traded in open-book portfolios since 2016.
The video above is where I would start with someone who has been working hard, studying more, and still wondering why consistency and profitability remain so hard to achieve.
Frequently Asked Questions
What to know before the series
Why doesn’t more analysis always fix this?
Because more or better analysis doesn't fix execution. The break happens when uncertainty, risk, and money are on the line. That's exactly when more analysis becomes noise.
Why does execution matter so much in trading?
Because analysis only produces profits if you execute the analysis properly. The best analysis edge in the world collapses if you can't execute it consistently through winning streaks and losing streaks.
What is Execution Quotient (XQ) in trading?
XQ is the behavioural ability to execute a defined process calmly, consistently, and correctly while you're still in the uncertain part. Like IQ or EQ, it's measurable. Unlike either, XQ isn't fixed; you can raise it through the right kind of practice.
Where does SPA3 Income fit in?
SPA3 Income is the mechanical, rules-based trading system that precisely defines every entry, every exit, every position size. It's the structure inside it with which you train your XQ. As Mark Douglas says: "The first stage is the mechanical stage..."
Where does 'LTTP - Live' fit in?
The 9-week Learn to Trade Properly (LTTP - Live) program is where rules turn into skills and habits. You trade real money, follow the same signals as the coach and every other participant, and recover from losing streaks under guidance.
Where does Profit Before You Pay (PBYP) fit in?
PBYP is the structure that removes the upfront training fee. You start at $99/month for prices data and support; the $2,495 training fee is only due once a $30,000 reference portfolio hits $2,495 in profit at any point during the 9-week LTTP - Live. Aligned incentives, not deferred payment.
What should I watch next?
The PBYP Video Series. It's a short trading course (< 75 minutes) that walks you through how the rules work, how the daily decision process feels in practice, why LTTP - Live trains traders so well, and how the reward unlock structure earns you back the monthly fees as you progress.
